The 13th edition of the Paris Manga and Sci-Fi Show was held on the 5 February 2012 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles centre, Paris
As for the previous edition, the 13th one did not fail in the number invitation of French and international guest stars. Dubbers, actors, authors, draftsmen among other artists responded positively to meet their fans and the general public during this two-day event. Fans, indeed, had the possibility of seeing their idols and speaking them directly.
However, despite the joy and excitation of meeting their idols, many of them were deceived, hence, pointed out fingers to the fact that they had to pay to obtain a dedication or to take a photography of their idols. It is commercial method that the French are not used to.
Despite this flat note, the opportunity to be able accustomed and communicate with their idols, were an intense moment for most of them.

Paris Manga and Sci-Fi Show can impress the novices, but the regular visitors of this kind of show can sometimes be bored, because of the small number of activities which are proposed to them. Indeed, the regrettably impression once you entered the hall is that you were in a huge souk market: the stands of goodies in all kinds and were packed in an haphazard manner. The maps given at the entrance were actuallly of any help. The only activities, except for the meetings with the guests of the show were the video games and some competitions.
Fortunately there were fanzines stands and creators spaces present at the Show. It allows visitors to discover and to exchange with (new) artists to perform or display their talents. Here also, numerous objects were for sale.
But talking with creators, about drawing, or the passion to create, were a simple and free pleasure, which allows each to cross a pleasant moment.
